Consider Private Lessons to get you started or to amplify your Public Group Lesson experience.
There are several great approaches to learning dance depending on a few factors.
Explore the options below to discover the best options for you.
Are you looking for a new social experience or do you want to become skilled at Swing dancing?
If you’re in it to be social, start with our Crash Course. Later you can consider additional Public Lessons to broaden and deepen your social experience. Consider the facts that Public Group Lessons frequently lead to friendships with other dancers at your level as you progress together through a series of lessons.
If you want to become skilled at Swing dancing, you have an amazing journey ahead! Any of our lessons will be a good choice for you. We strongly suggest starting at the beginning of our Prerequisite Flow Chart and working your way through. The only way to go wrong is if you move on before you’re ready or never practice what you’re learning. If your budget and schedule allow, combining Public Group Lessons with a package of regular Private Lessons is by far the best way to learn as much as possible!
Do you prefer to blend into a crowd or learn where no one but the instructor can see you?
If blending into a crowd sound most appealing, you’ll want to opt for either our Crash Course or whichever Public Group Lesson you qualify for.
If you prefer the idea of no one seeing you learn but the instructor, go with regular Private Lessons or a First Timer Mini Private Lesson.
How much experience do you have, if any?
If this is your first time or you have next to zero experience- try our Crash Course or our First Timer Mini Private Lesson or a regular Private Lesson.
If this will be your 2nd time or more but you’re still sort of a beginner, you want to brush up on the basics or learn the opposite role, try our Beginners Getting Serious Series and/or Private Lessons.
If you have anywhere between some experience and tons of experience, explore our many Public Group Lessons and either see what you can get instructor approval for or speed your way through the prerequisites for review and fine tuning for the higher level classes that will really challenge you. If you don’t see exactly what you want, opt for a Private Lessons package that will be customized just for you.
